Link: Interesting chord exploring software
by Jason Hannah on Nov.19, 2009, under Link

This will be a quick post, mainly because I admittedly don’t know much about the topic I’m writing about. I wanted to share it with you, though, because some of you might like to explore the idea a little bit.
Using StumbleUpon (if you don’t use it you should… if you do, give this site a thumbs up for me!) I found an interesting site. The site offers some software that lets you explore how different chords interact with each other by clicking on the chords and hearing a piano chord example.
Theoretically, it would be an easy way to explore different chord combinations. It looks like it has options to play several different versions of each chord, too.
I plan on trying it out. I haven’t had a chance to yet, and I don’t know how soon I will, which is why I’m sharing it with you guys without actually trying it. I didn’t want to forget about it and let the idea slip.
I definitely will be trying it somewhat soon, though.
There is a free trial version on the page that you can download. It only works in the key of C, and the page says that a few of the chord options are disabled.
If you decide that you want to buy the software, you can actually pay what you think it’s worth, anywhere from $25 down to $1.
If you want to check it out, go to THIS link.
If you check it out, let me know what you think.
